Ron Martinez has rocks in his head. When he closes his eyes he sees rocks. In fact if you ask his wife, Carmen. Many early morning hours, he'll wake her up, to tell her about the latest dream. His most contented hours are spent studing rocks and carving rocks. When Ron is carving the rocks he is in harmony with nature, attuned to the message within the rock. He does not seek to recreate the rock -- only to enhance the beauty already present.
